Meet Don

Don Woodard is an internationally recognized artist that has the unique ability to carve by hand, very detailed, bas relief images, in select woods. He also has the painting skills to highlight or detail the carvings into works of fine art.

About the Art: His subject matter is wide ranging, including wildlife, western images, and landscapes, which are all reflective of Don’s interests. Many of his western scenes represent events and activities that he has experienced leading pack-horse trips into the Rocky Mountain Wilderness for over 40 years. He is also very happy to create a commissioned work of art, to tell YOUR STORY!

All of Don’s work is sculpted by hand and when it is finished naturally he calls it a Relief Wood Sculpture, but when he paints the work of art, he refers to it as a 3-Dimensional Painting.

What is a Metal Print Reproduction?
A Metal Print Reproduction is an exceptionally detailed photographic reproduction of Don’s bas relief, mixed media artworks, printed on a light-weight aluminum panel. Our lighting technique allows the details, depth of vision, and resolution to be unsurpassed and the colors are very vibrant, bringing life and interest to any home or office environment. The longevity, or life span of a Metal Print Reproduction will outlast most any other photographic process. Metal Print Reproductions come ready to hang on your wall!

Metal Print Reproductions are available in two standard sizes: Mini print $125 (approximately 11” x 14”) and Standard print $295 (approximately 18”x24”). Note: each print will vary in size, proportionate to the size of the original work of art. Custom sized Metal Print Reproductions are available up to 4’x8’ dimensions, and are quoted per actual size.

Include a Mat and Frame
The Standard size and Custom size Metal Print Reproductions may also be matted and framed the same as Don’s original artworks. Standard size Metal Print Reproductions with black suede mat and frame are $465…ground shipping within the continental U.S. included. Custom sizes will be quoted.
